Yes, proxmox is heterogenous,whatever(almost) you throw at it, it will work. Just keep in mind,when you add other two nodes,that they must not have VM/CTs on them
To add to ness advice, if you plan to create a VM with a number of cores > 1, and want to be able to migrate the VM between all the nodes, use the lowest number of cores available on your 3 different servers.
Yes, but you have to take into account that low (network) latency is absolutely critical when using a ceph cluster, ideally the three servers are in the same room with a direct connection.
EDIT: Nevermind the ceph part if it does not apply.
And ceph starts with 3 nodes, so not great if you want to start with a single PVE node and all 2 more nodes later.
Btw...corosync also needs 3 voters, so you might want to add the remaining 2 nodes at the same time.
But you should decide what storage you want to use anr plan accordingly, in case you don't want local storage only which wouldn't bw great in case you care about HA or migratability.
