I have 2 Intel Arc GPUs. One of them is used by Proxmox and is used by Plex and Jellyfin. The other one I want to passthrough to a Linux VM. I've gone through all the steps to enable the passthrough except for blacklisting the drivers. I don't even know if blacklisting the Arc drivers is even possible as they seem to be baked into Linux because both GPUs were working as soon as I put them into the server. I'm ready to reboot and add the GPU to the VM but wanted to check to see if there was any clever way of preventing driver/resource contention. Any guidance is welcome.
Can I blacklist a GPU, rather than the drivers, for PCIe passthrough?
