BTRFS Parent transid verify failed

I have a proxmox server using BTRFS for root. The system had a hard crash. The system will not boot is complaining about:

(device sda3): parent transid verify failed on 2463219105792 wanted 320527 found 320525.
(device sda3): open_ctree failed

It seems a lot of the documents on how to recover say don't do this, check with IRC. Last time I used BTRFS they had fsck to run and fix simple issue with inodes and things after a crash.

What is the correct way to recover a BTRFS filesystem after a crash now? I see so many conflicting documents or commands that are depreciated.

Current commands should always come from the current install, so best way to find out is man btrfs. Subcommands are documented too.
