Hello,

I'm currently with SoYouStart and have a server from them running under ProxMox 4. Got everything working on a Debian system that with the network, but now I'd like to run another VM on Ubuntu OS (16.04).

I've assigned the MAC address to the IP FO and the VM itself, using vmbr0, here is the /etc/network/interfaces:

And the /etc/resolv.conf contains:

The exact same changes worked perfectly on Debian 8 (except for the name server, I added two lines in the interfaces).

Do you know what could the problem be ?
Thanks.

.... but not in Ubuntu you mean?!

And What exactly does not work? Possible to ping from VM to host? Possible to ping from VM to gateway? Possible to ping from VM to other destinations (as there are internet, other endpoints in LAN etc.)?
