Dear Sirs, I am a very newbie to proxmox ve. I have installed version 6.4 in my host hardware and all seems and works ok.
What I need is: to create a new virtual machine (guest) and this VM to be able to boot and run my external USB SSD drive that is a full installed and working Debian 10.9 OS. Please tell me if this is possible and if it is then how to achieve what I want.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Mike Kranidis

If the VM is using grub you can try this. That way you pseudo passthrough the external HDD into the VM as a virtual disk.

Thanks a lot for your answer, I really appreciate your help.
Yes, it is with grub as usual. I will try your suggestion and I will let you know the result.
