good afternoon
install proxmox on a dell r750xs server, everything was fine, until the 480gb SSD reached its limit, I bought a larger 1.92TB drive

I cloned the disk and when I start it tells me that it cannot run proxmos (failed proxmox) any suggestions, I am new to proxmox and I know little about Linux

1. this is the wrong forum section (Proxmox Backup Server in German)

2. using a cloned disk can work, but can also cause various errors.
What exactly works and what error messages do you have?
Have you entered the new disk as a boot device in the BIOS?

ok, I understand, sorry, I'm new to the forum and I left just because of the word server

Second, using a cloned disk may work, but it may also cause various errors.

After loading it sends me the following error: booting from proxmox
bootfailed:proxmox
booting from windows boot manager
boot failed: windows boot manager
v4.
booting from PXE Device 1: Embedded NIC 1 Port 1 Partition 1

>>Start PXE over IP

Have you entered the new disk as a boot device in the BIOS?

yes, and as UUID

This looks quite normal if the computer cannot find the boot disk.
In some BIOSes you have the option of specifying the UEFI partition and the UEFI boot file. (there is usually a file browser)

Of course, an error may also have occurred during cloning, which is why the disk is not bootable.
