Hi there.

I'm trying to install one of our server products, based on SLES9, from a 4.5 G ISO to PVE-1.3-KVM/QEMU but got always the "cd read error 003".
Same ISO is bootable without any problems on our VCenter ESX's.
I tried IDE and SCSI but no chance.
A windows XP ISO with around 600 MB is worry-free!

Are there any issues with booting from big ISO's known here?
And - yes, the boot direction is set to "d" (CD)

Hm, I´ve just installed OpenSuse V11.1 from an DVD ISO with 6.7 GB size without any issues (beside that the Suse VM locks up at start up but this seems to be a problem of the OpenSuse DVD itself since VBox showed the same problem ).

I would say ISOs > 4 GB work fine ;)

Did my own research - no problem to work with the same ISO on a OpenSuse 11.1 KVM/QEMU.
Think I' ll do my vmdk migration and installation with bigger iso's on that machine.
It's a stupid issue - I know - but it slowed down my work.
