Hi all,
anyone have experience for this argument ?
I've tried other software and have a function like BOOT FROM BACKUP, obviously Backup server must have an interface on the same network segment, but when a VM crash, resolve in minutes with starting a VM (slow ok) and with consolidation possibility onto fast storage with move, is better.

ProxMox have this function or is planned a development for this ?

Thanx in advance

What exactly do you mean?

If you want to restore a VM and run it as soon it restore has finished there is the "Start after restore" checkbox.
And then there is the "Live Restore" checkbox where the VM is started while the restore process is running.
And if you just want to access a file of a VM you don't have to restore the VM at all, you can just restore that file on the VMs filesystem (as long as that filesystem is supported by PBS).
