I just installed a new nvme disk to have more space for VMs.
Proxmox 9.0.11 is installed on a B660M-DS3H from Gigabyte, with 64Go RAM. The boot disk is a SAMSUNG 980 PRO 512 and I want to add a SAMSUNG 990 PRO 2To.
I also have a 512Go Sata SSD for ZFS volumes (on which is installed several lxc containers).

My problem : when I plug the new NVME, some services fail to start (like the network !). I can see a message about some mount point errors but the problem only appears with the new disk, I guess it's not related. As I can't access to the the UI i can't initialize the disk.

What I've tried :
  • format it, no working.
  • upgade Proxmox from 8 to 9 but 9.0.11 doesn't solve the problem.
  • move the disks (there are 2 slots, I switched them) no results. The boot disk is working fine on both slots.
Any ideas??

I finally managed to make it work. The installation of the disk changed the attibution of the network : enps3s0 to enps4s0. I just changed it in /etc/network/interfaces
