Hi

just starting, so sorry for the perhaps obvious questions (tried to find this in the manual):

I had quarantined emails and selected to blacklist them. Where are they added? How are they blacklisted? By sender?
Can't find them in who/blacklist....

. BUT happens with the spam I select in the above picture? Spam Quarantine. Or whitelist?
Not sure I understand the question - but:
* if you click on deliver/delete - the mail is delivered to the recpient, or it is deleted
* if you click on whitelist the sender is added to that receiver's whitelist and the mail gets delivered
* if you click on blacklist the sender is added to that receiver's blacklist and the mail gets deleted

Added to the receiver's blacklist. OK. BUT where is that blacklist, where can Isee what is there. I have no users defined, just the admin.

GUI->Administration->User Whitelist (and Blacklist)
in the resulting panel you have to enter the recipient e-mail address to see that user's white/blacklist

I hope this explains it

OK! Now it's clear.

Last question: how can I globally blacklist those entries, i.e. for all users/domains. I guess in the who blocklist BUT I have to enter them each time one by one.....

Also: "
Bayesian Filter - Automatically trained statistical filters

Certain words have a higher probability of occurring in spam emails than in legitimate emails. By being trained to recognize those words, the Bayesian filter checks every email and adjusts the probabilities of it being a spam word or not in its database. This is done automatically."

How does it learn if I can't select emails to train?

This depends on your actual rules - but yes in the default rules you can add them to the blacklist - who object
and yes you need to enter them there once manually - you can also use pmgsh and the API:

We are planning on disabling the bayes plugin by default in the next major version:

https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/s...-for-bayes_00-and-bayes_05.105398/post-453796

if you still want to use it and train it manually - see the spamassassin documentaiton on the topic:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/spamassassin/BayesInSpamAssassin

Disabled Bayes. Autolearning is not good. We train it ourselves in our Baracuda Spamgateway appliance and it's quite good but also needs reclassifications on error.
