[SOLVED] Black screen just after installation

Hello,

I recently installed Proxmox 5.2 (via USB). No issue during the installation, but after rebooting and choosing Proxmox on GRUB page, I only see a black page without nothing on it (not even a cursor).

My computer is quite old - Motherboard GA-P55A-UD3, processor intel i7 (first generation), 16GB RAM DDR3, and one SSD of 500BG (SATA 2).
I quickly see some lines with one starting with "Can't process LV...." but it's disapearing so much fast that I can't even read them !

Any idea of what is causing his issue and how to solve it ?

My graphic card is old too (Nvidia GTX460). And indeed the "nomodeset" options fixed the issue (note that you forgot the "e" of nomodEset, in your message ;) ).
