i need 3-5 windows VMs.
1 needs to be a windows server either 2008 or 2012
1 is just a download pc that needs windows but doesn't matter which one as long as it is the most efficent load/memory wise
3 need to be win 7 or win 8 that i hope to template since i am using 3.0 rc2. Looking for best performance on these and least amount of issues.

wondering if anyone could provide some guidance with the above requirements on proxmox. my install is only new and i currently have a firewall, freenas, mysql vms running and performing well. I have an XP vm i ported from ESXI but it seems to be using more cpu than i would expect and if i tell it to shutdown ir ends up rebooting. I suspect this is because it was an EXSI XP vm but i am not sure.

Also for the linux containers are some better than others or about the same? Should i only use the ones available for download inside proxmox or are the ones on the web from turnkey etc fine as well?

Spec wise i am running 32gb of ram with 10gb free and 8 core AMD piledriver. Had a few issues with some of the HDs not been recognized by my controllers but now everything is fine. Only other thing i still need to work out is the best way to add more local storage as i have a few SSD i want to use for a few of my VMs.
