Hi forum, I have a cluster with 5 nodes and more than 300 VMs running. I want to update to 3.4 version.

Should I reboot after update? or can I update without reboot?

Regards.

Hi,
primary you must only reboot if a new kernel should be loaded.
if a new Qemu packet come you should sometime restart your VMs.
But if you have Ha-Cluster then you should migrate all Vm from the node witch you are updating.

I`m not a professional, but upgrade my cluster was performed in the following way:
1. Migrate (online) all VM`s from current node.
2. Upgrade current node.
3. Do paragraf 1&2 for each node of cluster.
5. PROFFIT :)!
