Hi everyone, i got a proxmox node with 8core, 16gb ram and a geforce gtx1080TI and i want to do a gaming vm playabale remotely with parsec for example (if you know any better options, i'll take it)
So i install windows 11, i passthrough my gpu, and everything run "well", but with a high latency. I mean games are playable in terms of fps, but there are still micro lag that made the games jerky.
Do you have any advices, or any setup that could be better to have the best option to play in the best condition on my proxmox hosts ? Thank you very much

Give the VM less cores and less ram because making sure that the VM does not use 100% of anything make everything smoother; go for 50% at most or use bare-metal instead of Proxmox. Also search the forum for stutter (and similar terms) and read the advise people give.

use bare-metal instead of Proxmox
second this. Just put in a dedicated disk for Windows and just go with it. Does not make sense to put more software in between. It will never run as smooth as it would on bare metal and just safe your time. I've tried and it was not worth it besides getting the experience, which is now only useful for preventing others like you from going through the same.
