Hi
I have a homelab with 8 Lenovo Tiny-PCs and a rack server built from old gaming-pc parts that is also my virtualized backup server (PBS).
I currently have my cluster nodes with an IP in the range of 10.50.20.0/24 and all my LXC/VM in a range of 10.10.20.0/24, this was done by making the ports where my proxmox nodes are tagged with vlan 20 and making my PVE nodes main interface vlan-aware.
No issues so far with this config.
No I got gifted some SFP fiber stuff and a fiber pcie card that I'd like to use in my virtualized backup server to my switch, to possible have a BOND of 2x1Gbit/s through my Cisco SG300-28pp Switch.
After that I'd have theoretically 2x 1Gbit fiber connection and 1x 1Gbit Copper connection from my switch to my rack server.
Now after I'd do that, on what IP should I leave my cluster, should I change the IP of the copper interface? Does this require changing the IP of the cluster config?
How does Proxmox handle multiple interfaces? can I assign the LXC just simply a new one and connection will be routed through the bonded fiber connection?
Also for this bond, is there any setup needed on proxmox or just on switch side?
Thanks for any tips and possibly some starting points for me!
