I know the backups just use cron. Why can't we setup backups that run once per month, or once every three months? For the majority of my VM's backing up weekly is complete overkill. Does anyone know if there is a way to set backups for 1 month without editing /etc/pve/vzdump.cron directly and breaking it inside the GUI?

Really interessting too. Miss this feature. But yes you can change the crontimes. But never tested.

Supplement: It seems do be working... but the entry after changing to 1 in a moth is gone in PVE.

Yep that is what I have seen in my testing. Problem is we have some users who setup VM's but have no CLI knowledge. I am blown away everyone backs up there VM's once a week.
