Backuping a raw inside the partition suspends the machine

Hi,
I moved my machines into Volume Groups and backups work successfully, except when i try to backup a VM that includes 2 disks on Volume Groups and 1 disk in a raw file. The backup works but the VM is supsended and my USB devices don't work anymore. The question is: is it possible to make snapshots of raw files through vzdump, preventing the suspension of VMs?

Hi, I made a new Volume Group, replacing the raw disk file inside the partition, but the scheduled backup won't work as should... it suspends my VM again, even if VM disks are now in VGs.
I have 3 disks in 3 separate VGs in Virtio mode.
How can i solve this problem?

Sorry if that was unclear, but the reason for the short suspend is that you use more than one disk - but is is only 3 seconds.

In general, the only way to consistently shapshot 3 disks is to do a short suspend (well, maybe it is possible to optimize that when all files are on the same logical volume).

Yes but my Windows VM has an USB printer linked through qemu and when vzdump suspends and resumes the vm, the printer doesn't work anymore (to make it work i have to restart the vm everytime i do a backup)...
