Backup solutions other than vzdump ?

Hello,

Do you know an other backup solution (free or not) than vzdump to back up directly from the node / hypervisors please ?

Actually, we have a cluster of several dedicated servers connected to a SAN in 10 Gbits/s.

We have tried vzdump with local, nfs and samba but we have got instabilities in the node when we start backup and we would like to try another way to proceed.

Change the bwlimit in /etc/vzdump.conf to limit the strain on the node.

What problems are you experiencing? We do backups over NFS from a 6 node cluster with 4 GBit FC SAN, GB Ethernet and never experienced problems.
