Hi, I want to mount an external USB disk to do weekly backups and save in vault but want it to be formatted exFat so we can read it on a windows machine. when I tried to run mkfs.exfat I got the error "bash: mkfs.exfat: command not found". and I could not find a way to install it either. anyone has a workaround for this.
Second can I have 2 usb disks and swap them out one for another to alternate them and still be mounted on the save mount point.
Thanks for any help.

mkfs.exfat is part of the exfatprogs package. For the latter I guess you can use udev rules or usbmount.

I'm sorry to be so blunt but totally useless information. I would be looking for maybe installation instruction for PBS shell commands or relevant instructions.

@rdfamily I gave you enough information to research further and help yourself. I assumed someone using PBS would know how to install packages. My bad. But what stops you from searching how to install packages via the CLI? I had to research some information for my answer too, by the way.
