Backup schedules not able to be altered?

This is on the regular Proxmox 8.2.2 and not a Proxmox Backup Server but when creating or editing backup jobs there is no obvious way to alter the schedule for when the backup jobs will run. Just seems to be a predetermine list of entries with no Edit button.

Clicking on 'Help' on that panel just talks about the options of doing the backups themselves instead of the timing.

So are we forced to use that list of timing options? It seems strangely inflexible when a simple calendar/time control would have done the job.

Any advice on this? If I am missing something it's certainly not obvious from a UI standpoint

You can also type in that field and enter something (using the same syntax as the predefined examples) yourself.

I think the builtin backup scheduler follows roughly the same syntax as cron

Ah, ok. Thank you both. It certainly isn't intuitive and still seems no way to actually edit that list of predetermined schedules. For example to make my own that are easily selectable from the UI when making a new backup job.

Just some feedback for whoever is in charge of the Proxmox UI.
