Backup restore speed

Hi! When I try to restore VM from backup, my server LA is too high due to iowait and other VM's slow down. How can I limit the speed (bandwidth) of recovery from backup?

You can't afaik - do you user LVM thin?
You can try use ionice and nice to the vma and lzo process directly.

No, I'm not a user of LVM thin, i have a regular LVM (without thin provision support) on iscsi volume for VM's and local (hd) storage for backup.
