Hello, I have recently made a second machine and did not join them together via cluster. I had some issues and was forced to do backup / restore to get the new one working as soon as possible. Now I would like to try and move the rest of the vm's over to the new node but they have some huge virtual disks. Any ideas on how to do this? Maybe even via command line. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,

Yes, that is the way that I was doing it.

Sorry, I should have included a little more information. When trying to backup the vm on the old machine, there was not enough space on the local drive. I can't backup to a lvm-thin as it's not a physical drive. The VM's have in excess of 1TB+.

My solution to this is to use a usb drive, mount that as a directory and then backup to that and transfer the data to the new machine and then restore it from there.

Thank you for the help.
