Backup restore no space on device

I did try to restore a proxmox backup. I got tar: ./var/lib/mysql/hassio/states.ibd: Cannot write: No space left on device.
After df -h on my destination I got: /dev/loop3 49G 827M 46G 100% /var/lib/lxc/199/rootfs

How can I expand the temp folder? Can I expand the backup on my NAS and move now the files?

Delete the failed restore.

Try adapting this script and give it +5GB to start:

Also check ' df ' on your root partition, it might be too small - I usually give proxmox boot/root 30-50-256GB depending on ext4 / zfs root but my ISOs are all soft symlinked to a shared drive
