backup policy when verify failed

I have a question , backup always base on last backup , even it's verify failed?
or base on last verify ok backup.

Backups only use the fast incremental mode if the previous backup snapshot of the backup groups is either not verified or verified. If the snapshot failed verification, a full backup not using the incremental mode is performed.
