Backup of a HA protected VM with shutdown method

Hi all,

I have a cluster with a pair of Windows Server virtual machine.
It's possibile to backup HA protected VMs with shutdown method ?
The backup process shutdown the VM, HA after a while auto restart it, or I'm wrong ?

I'd guess that the backup process itself will block the VM from being started again, but please try with a test VM, then you'll know for sure.
