Backup hangs at 99%

Good afternoon. After upgrading to version 9.0, I lost the ability to create backups of virtual machines, both to the Proxmox Backup Server and locally to a separate disk mounted as a directory. The process freezes at 99%. I have tried absolutely EVERY method of creating a backup. None of them can get past the 99% mark. I have enough space on the storage.

I recently saw a similar problem on the forum, which was related to VEEAM. I followed the same approach: I switched a q35 machine from the "Latest" version to version 9.2+pve1, and it started working — that was before I upgraded to 9.0.6. Now I have the same problem again: all machines created on version 8.4 back up without any issues anywhere, including to PBS4, but all new ones do not.

Proxmox installed on BTRFS.

Hi,

Could you provide more details about the VM and errors if such occurred?
Proxmox installed on BTRFS.
IMHO it's not good idea. It doesn't provides any benefits except unexpected workflow and potential issues (BTW its still on technology preview). Why do you use it?
