Hi there,

after restoring one VM with the backup server (luckily it worked perfect), I have now some troubles with creating a new backup (with all VM on the PVE).

I always get the following messages (also after updates, I tried to reboot,...):

Does maybe somebody has any ideas? Do you need more infos?

so, what says the vm 101....changed the root filesystem to readonly?

I am running four different VMs and I have the same problem with all of them.
Sorry for the stupid question, but I am relatively new in all of this, but inside the VMs I can read and write - so everythings works normal. Do you mean with "changed the root filesystem to readonly" the root filesystem of proxmox? I wouldn't know how to do or change that...

Could it be a problem, that one VM is the Backup Server - but saving the backups to an external NAS?

Hi,
please check the PBS server and whether the filesystem for the datastore is still writable.

Ok, thanks for your help, I found the issue.
It was not a Proxmox problem, it was a problem with the NAS storage - now it is working again without problems. It was a coincidence, that the backup problem occurred at the same time after the restoring process.
