One of my backups has hung and now the system will not allow me to do anything - any suggestions?

The VM has a 40GB drive and should have taken around 45min to complete the backup but it still hasnt completed. Another proxmox server in the cluster has been running a big backup at the same time but has no errors on it at all.

Your snapshot run out of space. Please stop the backup manually. Then set/increase 'size' in /etc/vzdump.conf. Default size is 1024 (1GB), so I suggest you try with 2GB:

size: 2048

What does it mean 'snapshot run out of space'? Is this an issue for anyone backing up a VM over 40G in size?
