backujp over ssh

i am trying to figure out if i can poiint proxmox backups to a remote wan location via ssh? so far i have not found anything that says yes or no. I am unable to add ssh location under storage so far however.

Hi,
there is no SSH type storage support. But e.g. you can use SMB/CIFS and set up encryption with that.

Or alternatively, you could try using an sshfs mount and add it as a directory type storage with --is_mountpoint 1
