I have a Proxmox cluster consisting of two machines and another machine that due to hardware limitations can't run Proxmox (GPU passthrough not possible). This machine is running Manjaro Linux and I'd like to back it up to my PBS. What is better: running the backup from the PBS machine/VM connecting through the network or running a PBS client on Manjaro Linux directly?
Bonus: The bare metal Manjaro Linux was a VM on the Proxmox cluster before and it had successful backups via PBS. Is there any way I can just continue backing up to the existing backups? I don't think so, but I thought I'd ask.
PBS and PVE are all newest versions.
