In case anyone is hiring for a Proxmox PVE related role in Germany (or remote within EU timezones), I am looking for a job.
I'm a senior IT infrastructure engineer based in Germany. I have 10+ years of practical experience running Proxmox PVE in production.
I originally started using Proxmox PVE back in 2013, migrating an existing VMWare infrastructure to Proxmox PVE. Since then I have been using Proxmox PVE (and related technologies) over the years at three different organizations/employers.
The largest Proxmox PVE setup that I have set up and helped to maintain so far spans across multiple datacenters on three continents and has multi-Petabyte storage and backup attached. But I've also worked with smaller environments.
None of my previous roles were exclusively focused on Proxmox though. I'm an IT infrastructure generalist and am familiar with networking, storage, backup, monitoring, VDI, Linux, Windows, data center operations, AWS/cloud, k8s, scripting and system programming, client management, Active Directory, Office 365/AAD/Entra, etc (and the usual tools and vendors in these spaces).
