Hi folks,
I have VMs without HDDs that boot from live CD images. Some of them require quite an amount of configuration after startup (IP address, host name, qemu guest agent, ...). I created a snapshot and I can resume from that snapshot any time. However, I wonder if it is possible to always start the VM from a particular snapshot, especially when the host system is rebooted.

Any ideas on this?

Hi,

the only way to do so is to rollback to the snapshot.
You could write a cronjob/systemd timer to achieve this at the reboot
