Auto eth0 dont work after upgarde of Ubuntu server 10.04

Hi,
First, sorry for my english ...
I've downdload aplliance of Ubuntu Server 10.04 here : http://wiki.openvz.org/Download/template/precreated
I've installed the appliance. That's ok, she run fine.
But, when i upgrade the VM (atp-get upgrade) there are more package and among them, ifupdown. If i install this package, i must run ifup eth0 after every reboot of the VM.
i have auto eth0 of course in my interfaces files.
Have you encountered this problème ?
