How can I block an attachment in proxmox. the file contains viruses.

Easiest way is via Rules - here is a basic rule:

Mail Filter > What
* Match Filename --> .*\.(pdf)

Then create the rule:
Action = Quarantine
What = NewAttachmentWhatObject
From = (optional) If you want to specify like Microsoft domains (outlook.com or hotmail.com)
