apt-get update not working

Hey all,

I've installed proxmox a few days ago on a new server I built. I seem to have configured everything correctly but for some reason, it is failing to download the latest updates. I've copied shell output below. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

You either don't have internet connection or the DNS server you've set isn't working and can't resolve the apt server's names.

Thank you. At least it helped me find what the issue was. Turns out the gateway I input into the /etc/networks/interfaces file was incorrect as I left it default haha. Classic noob mistake.
