apt-file update - missing file

On successfully installing apt-file with:

apt-get update && apt-get install apt-file

and attempting to update the cache info with:

apt-file update

on ProxMox v1.4 I get:

# apt-file update
Can't get http://download.proxmox.com/debian/dists/lenny/Contents-amd64.gz
Can't get http://security.debian.org/dists/lenny/updates/Contents-amd64.gz

The file Contents-amd64.gz is missing from both the repos: security.debian.org and download.proxmox.com . I do not know what they contain. The info was taken from this link.
Is this an issue with ProxMox v1.5 as well? Since I did an apt-get update and apt-get install apt-file and did not do a apt-get dist-upgrade I thought it was a version problem and that paths and file names may have changed during the update.

The question is why we should generate that - Obviously apt-file requires it, but I see no real reason to support apt-file - I do not know a single user which requires that (besides you).

Since we are using the apt- series of commands, I looked into it's usefulness.
The d-pkg -L is enough for almost all. If it's a bother generating it, we can skip it.
