My Proxmox 6.3-3 web interface shows all ?s, and would not change. I found my server like this after waking up.

Although the web interface is at least responding to requests, I am unable to get a shell as root to gather log information. The Shell view is able to show the MOTD, but hangs after that. Vanilla ssh simply hangs.

A recent package update failure in the task list was equally helpful.

I physically accessed the server, and I see an endless feed of the same message from journald:

Code:
Failed to send WATCHDOG=1 notification message: Transport endpoint is not connected.

I physically rebooted the machine. I see a bunch of messages about orphaned inodes. Roughly a minute later, I see messages prefixed with
Code:
FS-Cache:
followed by "Duplicate cookie detected," "0-cookie," "0-key," "N-cookie," and some numbers.

I'm afraid I'm not that experienced in forums like this one since I am a new homelabber, but what can I give you to help me find the root cause?

Hi,

when you physically access the server, can you use it? Or do the errors prevent you from doing something? Could you create a screenshot or take a photo of the exact messages? Do you have NFS/CIFS storage attached to your server?
