APC PDU as Fence Device

Looking to use one of these as my fence device.

The model you linked to is a transfer switch, for fence device you need a Switched Rack PDU such as this:
http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=AP7900&tab=features

I have used both of these APC devices for a fence device in Proxmox:

I was thinking the transfer switch also had the capabilities to manage individual outlets but I guess not. We would need to hang the switch rack PDU off the transfer switch correct?

I think so.
When I looked at that transfer switch manual I did not see any indication that it had Switched PDU capability.
Maybe APC makes a model that does but I have never needed a transfer switch so that is beyond my knowledge.
