Any downsides clustering a remote pve just for managing (central gui and vms migration) ?

Guys i have a remote pve and would like to make life easier, i heard before that clustering a remote pve is no good, but i think its related to HA (which i dont need for now) so wondering for just managing is ok ?

the machines are in the same vpn

Thanks in advance !

Clustering happens via Corosync, which requires a low latency link (optimal is <1ms, maximum is 5-10ms), which is unlikely to be the case for a simple remote PVE. Maybe the Datacenter Manager [1] can help you with managing both instances, without any clustering?

thanks for your answer, i though corosync was just usefull for HA, and wouldnt make any difference on managing, and yes these speeds are impractical for this setup.

Gonna look into datacenter manager, i could setup this as regular vm in a pve node ?
