AMD Ryzen 7 4700U GPU passthrough

Hi everyone,

Has anyone managed to get GPU passthrough working on AMD Ryzen 7 4700U processor? The computer is a GenMachine Ren4000.

I tried following https://github.com/isc30/ryzen-gpu-passthrough-proxmox and other guides on the Internet, but without success :/

Hi,

GPU passthrough shoudln't work on the Ryzen 7 4700U because the iGPU is bundled with many other devices in the same IOMMU group.
The hardware isn’t designed to isolate the GPU for passthrough.
You can try running Proxmox fully headless, enabling ACS override (unsafe), and forcing VFIO early binding etc. but even with all that not sure that it will works.
