For a virtualized HA OPNSense I need CARP and that needs the virtio NIC to be able to use MAC spoofing and I've read that I need to make sure that the hypervisor allows it (example was esxi).
Is this allowed by default or can I somehow enable it? I wasn't able to find an option in the GUI.

Is that what "MAC filter" under "Datacenter -> MyNode -> MyVM -> Firewall -> Options" is doing? So I just need to disable it for that specific VM?
