Allow Exchange server to send & receive local accounts without being filtered

Using Exchange 10 and PMG 5.2-7 with license.
All is working OK except that PMG seems to sometimes delay messages between local accounts. How do I allow messages between accounts on the Exchange domain but still check outbound from the Exchange server for spam, etc ?

Local mails that are send through exchange should not go to the mail gateway. Exchange usually routes them directly to the recipient mailbox on the server. Check that all clients send through the Exchange server.
