Allow DOMAIN\username format for Active Directory Realm Auth?

I use the "DOMAIN\username" format to log in for nearly all of my Active Directory linked systems. But with Proxmox, it will error out if I try to use that format and require me just to put in my username. This means that when I use my password manager to autofill my username and password, I must go back and remove the "DOMAIN\" part to log in. This also applies if you try to use a full UPN (username@domain). Would it be possible to configure the GUI to support these alternate formats?
