Allocation Policy for Media Pool & Backup Jobs

I have been running daily tape backups for the past month. That has been working fine, but I would like to fine tune this if possible. Right now only one tape has been written to using the 'to-tape' backup job (detailed below) and that contains daily backups from April 30th to June 2nd. I would actually like to only have backups from beginning of month to end of month (e.g. May 1st to May 31st). Then once the new month starts, it should create a new media set I guess? How I can do this correctly?

What I would like is one tape written to daily then exported at the end of the month. Then a different tape that is written to monthly doing full-backups that is exported at the end of year.

- 'write-monthly' backup job
- 'monthly-tape' media pool
- schedule : monthly
- export media-set : checked
- eject media : unchecked
- latest only : unchecked
