Hello,
We use Proxmox version 3.4-6 (standalone). I'm considering using Open Monitoring Distribution (OMD) for monitoring our various hardware/Operating Systems in our office. A blurb on OMD in case you haven't heard of it:
Open Monitoring Distribution (OMD) is a self-contained bundle that includes Nagios together with add-ons for gathering, monitoring, and graphing data. It comes bundled with Check_MK Multisite and by default the data from the check_mk_agent is served using xinetd.
Has anyone installed the check_mk_agent .deb file on their Proxmox Host? Is there a concern with using xinetd on my Proxmox Host for providing data to OMD?
Thank you.
