Hello,

my Proxmox 4.3.1 does work perfectly so far.
All the VM´s as well as the .iso-Images are on a mounted on a local storage.

The problem is that I can´t add a Windows .ios-file to a already existing virtual CD/ DVD drive.
I tried it with WinServ2012R2, WinServ2016 and Windows10.
There is no error message or anything else, it just doesn´t work.

With Linux (Debian 8, Ubuntu 14.04.5) there are no problems at all.
(While creating the VM (tried it with several VM´s) I selected WinServ12/10 as OS.)

Have you ever had any problems like this one?

Thanks in advance for your help.

what exactly do you mean by "it just doesn't work"? can you post a screeshot?

I uploaded the proxmox.zip file which is containing several screenshots.

As you can see in the screenshots, there is no error-message or something like that.
It´s working with:
CD/DVD drive as SATA: Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS/SLES12
CD/DVD drive as IDE: Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS/SLES12

It´s not working with:
CD/DVD drive as SATA: Windows7/10/Server2012R2/Server2016

Unfortunatelly I have no ideas, how I should continue at this point.

I have faced same problem some time, what I did, copy the Windows iso image with "WinSCP" to Promox "/var/lib/vz/template/iso" directory, you may try that or change the ISO with other.

please do not use spaces in the filename, then it should work
