I'm in the initial testing phase of ProxMox running v 8.2.2 on a Dell PC. Installation was a breeze and so far I am very impressed however I have hit a snag. I added a second SSD into the host but I can't figure out how to add it in ProxMox. My production environment is ESXi (which I want to move to ProxMox) and adding a new physical drive (or RAID array) is straight forward.
In Proxmox I went to Datacenter -> storage -> clicked add and was returned with a huge list of options most of which I don't even know what they are. I assume I am in the right place but I need a little direction please.

Thank you! :)

If it's a separate disk, I'd assume you have to first make a filesystem of some kind on that disk. I don't have a second disk to test this but you should be able to add it under "Datacenter > Storage > Add > Directory".
