[SOLVED] Adding NFS Share: Permission denied at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/Plugin.pm line 952. (500)

Hi, I am trying to add an NFS share I have created in Windows Server 2019 to my proxmox cluster.

The Settings I have set for NFS Share:

ID: test

Server: 192.168.0.112

Export: /Storage

Content: Everything

NFS Version: Default

(and the network path to share would be 192.168.0.112:/Storage)

The error I get:

create storage failed: error with cfs lock 'file-storage_cfg': mkdir /mnt/pve/test/images: Permission denied at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/Plugin.pm line 952. (500)

For the Windows NFS share, I have given full permissions to all machines and all users, and have allowed root access.

Things I have already tried:
Restarting windows server
Restarting pveproxy, pvedameon, pve-cluster on all nodes.

Any idea how to fix? Is this a know issue? Thanks for your help in advance.

Why not use CIFS, if you have a Windows hosting the share?

mkdir /mnt/pve/test/images: Permission denied

When you mount the share manually, can you create files/directories?

For the Windows NFS share, I have given full permissions to all machines and all users, and have allowed root access.

I am not sure how Microsoft implemented the NFS server in Windows. If it is like with SMB, then you may have multiple location for permission handling.

Update: Was able to get it working buy giving windows DL "Everyone" Write access... not secure but it gets the job done...
