Adding External USB Drives to Proxmox (TrueNAS VM)

Hi, everyone,

I'm running Proxmox VE on an IBM Server (System x3550) and I plan on adding in some external USB Hard drives. My question (assuming that the server will work with them) is how do I go about adding them to a drive pool for a TrueNAS virtual machine? Will Proxmox recognize them and I just add them to the VM or do I have to do anything extra to make it work? Ultimately my plan is to migrate all of my hard drives from an old Amahi Home Server over to this, as the AHS died. If I have to reinstall Proxmox and/or recreate the VM, that's not an issue as I just started setting things up.

Thank you and have a great weekend. :)
Patrick.
