We encountered a scenario where we wanted to add a Datastore to PBS to cope with the need to backup multiple PVE clusters. Because at present we can implement a PBS to add multiple Datastore to backup multiple PVE clusters, but the current setting of PBS is equivalent to a data store is a hard disk, then we need to add multiple in a PBS Data storage, when using RAID, will cause more hard disk space waste. We want to save hard disk space more, and only use one RAID to realize that PBS can backup multiple PVE clusters.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

A datastore is a directory (not a hard disk). Simply create one big RAID (zfs) and mount it. Then you can then create multiple datastores on that volume (one for each cluster).
